This History of Simply Divine Cookies

In 1985, two cousins setting out to share their favorite cookie recipe, entered the
Great Northwest Chocolate Chip Cookie Search”, conducted by a local TV Show
A.M. Northwest. Little did they know they would win unanimously, solving the mystery of where that cookie was. (See press release)

Inspiring them to open a Cookie Shop & Deli in Oregon City, Oregon... Simply Divine.

After 8 years, the demand for cookies was getting greater and greater, as our customers spread the word that there was something “Simply Divine” about these cookies. We then sold our deli’s, and concentrated on cookies only.

Some of our customers have been with us since the very beginning. We think that says something for the quality of our product and our outstanding service.

Our Mission is to provide you with the best handmade-homemade tasting cookies out there. We pride ourselves of bringing you that homemade taste right off the shelf with not only our baked cookies but with our edible cookie dough as well! Nothing will replace your grandmothers homemade cookies, but from our grandmother to yours we will give it our best shot! 

For over 27 years we have been a family owned and family run business. We are now working on 3rd generation bakers. Our first priority is the quality of our product which is equal with our care of customers. All of our cookies are handmade the old fashioned way in small batches.

That ensures we retain the “Best Chocolate Chip Cookie in the North West” taste that won us the contest. We make our cookies with fresh

ingredients with no additives or preservatives. Every cookie has three inspections before it leaves the premises. We want your cookie

experience to be a good one, and would like to be the cookie company that serves all your cookie needs. Our cookies are packed to send

as soon as they are cool enough to handle.

Do the taste test yourself. See if you agree that they are the “Best”. Our Cookies are just plain old fashioned flavors. We have tried lots of

other gourmet cookie recipes, but these are the flavors that are tried and tested over the last 26 years. They have proven themselves to be

the favorites. Simply Divine Cookies have been sent all over the world... from Iraq, Afghanistan and China, to New Hampshire and Hawaii.

We ship to people all over the US. They have tried them while they were in Oregon, and wanted a place to be able to order. If taste matters
